Access Statement
The Warwick is ideally located for the beach, town centre, railway station, harbour, shops, post office, bars and restaurants, which are all within easy level walking distance.
The building is over 200 years old, and whilst we aim to meet the needs of all our guests, there are some period features that may make access difficult for people with limited mobility. Our guest rooms are located over three floors accessed only via three flights of stairs. As we have no guest rooms on the ground floor, and no lift, we regret that the building is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Pre- arrival
The railway station is 10 minutes walk away, or we can arrange a taxi for you on request.
The bus stop is a few minutes walk away.
If you are travelling by car, we offer a limited number of parking permits which allow free on-street parking in the immediate local area (Zone F). There are double yellow lines directly outside the building, but parking is available on the opposite side of the road. These permits are offered on a first come first serve basis. There is a pay & display car park at The Pavilion close by, to access charges click the link: https://www.dorsetforyou.gov.uk/article/409552/Pavilion-car-park-Weymouth
The ‘Find Us’ page of our website has a map and a facility to request directions to get to us and other key locations.
We can be contacted by telephone or by email. The ‘Contact Us’ page of our website has an email link and also a contact form.

Public areas.
On the ground floor are the dining room and the guest lounge both accessed via a single door from the entrance hallway. There are no steps. There is a bell in the hallway to obtain the attention of the owners.
A staircase leads up from the entrance hall to the three guest floors. There are 2 short flights of stairs per floor with a small landing between each. Stairs and landings are carpeted and are well lit during the day and have sensor lighting at night time, there are no obstructions or slip hazards.
Fire extinguishers and break glass points are located on all floors for use in an emergency.
Guest rooms
All guest rooms have en-suite or private shower/toilet facilities. An additional toilet on the third floor is available for use by all guests. Central heating comes on morning & evening. During cold weather, fan heaters can be supplied on request. The Warwick is a grade 2 listed building with single glazed sash windows. While the Warwick Guest House has central heating throughout the building, during the coldest months the rooms facing the seafront are more exposed to the cold than those with Harbour Views.
